Community Programs

Families & Kids

Enjoy art with your family. Sheldon offers programs that encourage looking, learning, and making together.

Activity cards, designed for families and children are available at the visitor services desk in Sheldon's Great Hall. The cards prompt focused examination and discussion of works in the collection.

Sheldon Museum of Art offers slide presentations of current exhibitions for senior citizens. Upon request, trained volunteer docents will travel to assisted living and care facilities in Lincoln to present art-related programs.
