Admission is free.

Museum Hours

Sheldon Museum of Art is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Visitors are asked to enter and exit the museum on the east side of the building. Barrier-free ramp access to the museum is located on the north side of the building.

Sheldon will adhere to all University of Nebraska–Lincoln guidelines for protecting the health and safety of visitors, volunteers, and staff. These include requirements to wear face masks and to observe social distancing. Additionally, the museum will limit building capacity, provide hand sanitation stations, and increase cleaning of frequently touched surfaces.

Tours and Group Visits

Tours of Sheldon Museum of Art and its outdoor sculptures are free and may be tailored to visitors’ interests. Generally, tours must be requested at least two weeks in advance.

Accessibility

Barrier-free ramp access to the museum is located on the north side of the building. A wheelchair is available free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis.
