Artist Talk: Binh Danh
Thursday, March 26, 2026 - 5:30PM Sheldon Museum of ArtSan Jose-based artist Binh Danh, whose photographs are featured in the exhibition "Hyphen American: Intersection of Identity," returns to Sheldon Museum of Art to deliver a talk on his career and artistic practice. Danh first came to Nebraska in 2011 as an artist-in-residence at Sheldon, during which time he created works for the solo exhibition "Viet Nam, Nebraska."
Danh's talk, presented as part of the Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist & Scholar Lecture Series in collaboration with the School of Art, Art History & Design, will reflect on the transformational period spent working on "Viet Nam, Nebraska" and the evolution of his artistic practice since then.
