Explore Gender, Genre, Generation with chief curator and associate director for curatorial affairs Magdalena Moskalewicz, who organized the exhibition. The show features four painters offering the most consequential proposition for abstract painting today: Candida Alvarez, Rochelle Feinstein, Carrie Moyer, and Amy Sillman. Discover how these artists' divergent motivations and sources of inspiration provide new insights into how abstract art can address issues in both aesthetics and politics in the current moment.

Support provided by Jennifer and Brian Cintani, DLR Group, Donna Woods and Jon Hinrichs, Nebraska Arts Council and Nebraska Cultural Endowment, Sherwood Foundation, and Sheldon Art Association members.
