From Sketch to Sculpture celebrates the thirtieth anniversary of Torn Notebook, the monumental sculpture Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen were commissioned to create for the green space at 12th and Q streets.

Featuring sketches and a small prototype of the work, From Sketch to Sculpture was organized by members of the Sheldon Student Advisory Board to explore the artists’ creative and collaborative processes.
