Media pioneer Allucquere Rosanne "Sandy" Stone has established herself as one of the most prominent trans* theorists of our time. As the sound engineer for the first lesbian separatist and feminist music label — Olivia Records — she charted a path for all women and gender fluid people in technology and interdisciplinary practice from the 1970s to today. In this event, Sandy will discuss her upcoming documentary film, Girl Island: The Sandy Stone Story, with director Marjorie Vecchio.
