Sculptors have increasingly infused process and form with expressions of social dynamics and examination of the past. Here, works by artists Louise Bourgeois, Alexander Calder, Dan Flavin, Nicholas Galanin, Isamu Noguchi, Amanda Ross-Ho, and others have been selected to represent the tenures of Sheldon’s five directors. Together, the sculptures present a changing scene as well as an evolution in the medium’s potential for narrative.

Exhibition support is provided by Roseann and Phil Perry, Rhonda Seacrest, and Donna Woods and Jon Hinrichs.
