Tuesday–Wednesday 10 AM–5 PM
Thursday 10 AM–7 PM
Friday–Saturday 10 AM–5 PM
Sunday 12 PM–5 PM
Monday Closed
Admission is free.
Accessible Entrance and Parking
There is barrier-free ramp access to the museum from the parking lot on the north side of the building. A wheelchair is available free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis.
- On-street, metered parking is available during the day in most of downtown Lincoln. Look for spaces near Sheldon on 12th and R streets.
- A limited number of free parking spaces are available in a lot on the north side of the building. When using this lot, be sure to ask a Sheldon visitor services representative for a parking pass to place on your dashboard. Written directions to this lot can be found here.
- Like other parking lots on campus, Sheldon's lot is not available on the days of home football games. For information about parking and facilities on football game days visit huskers.com/football-game-day-information.
- Bicycle parking is available near Louis Pound Hall, across the sidewalk on the east side of Sheldon.

Tours and Group Visits
Tours of Sheldon Museum of Art and its outdoor sculptures are free and may be tailored to visitors’ interests. Generally, tours must be requested at least two weeks in advance.
To arrange a tour or group visit, please fill out the tour request form here. A Sheldon staff member will contact you to confirm and finalize the details of your visit.
